Human review of some prompts for accuracy improvement is a condition of using Bard, and these reviews may be retained for up to three years.

Bard often automatically detects which extension to use. For example, asking about weekend accommodation prices will trigger Google Hotels. The extension used will be displayed during processing. For more precise results, be specific in your prompts (e.g., "what plans have I made over email with [contact] about [event]?") or explicitly tag extensions using "@" (e.g., @Gmail, @Google Maps).

Bard integrates with Google Drive, allowing you to summarize PDFs or emails. For YouTube, Maps, Flights, and Hotels, Bard functions like a search engine, enabling combined prompts (e.g., a wedding speech outline combined with inspirational YouTube videos).

While accuracy can be inconsistent, Bard Extensions offer unique capabilities, such as finding the "most cheerful email" from yesterday, which standard searches cannot achieve. Experiment to see if it enhances your information retrieval.
