Locating the Missing Enchanted Gemstones
Aladdin will give you an amulet to show Jasmine in the Southern Market. She'll reveal it's missing gemstones. To restore its power, you must find the gems and have Aladdin set them.
The gems are on rooftops, atop boxes guarded by monkeys. Talk to the monkey leader, but he won't cooperate without a trade. You'll need to consult Aladdin for the next step.
Note: Talking to the monkey leader beforehand is possible, but acquiring the gems requires speaking with Aladdin first.
Finding the Golden Bananas
Aladdin suggests trading golden bananas for the gemstones. You need one bunch per gemstone. Here's where to find them:
Trade the bananas with the monkey leader for the gemstones, then return them to Aladdin for the amulet repair.
Navigating the Sandstorms
With the repaired amulet, you can now traverse the sandstorms (but not the dust devils requiring stealth).
Equip the Desert Protection Amulet from your wardrobe. It grants immunity to the sandstorms. Follow Aladdin through the storm to discover an ancient tome hidden on a rooftop.
Gather the timber stack and silk bolt there as well!
Bring the tome to Aladdin to complete this stage of the quest. You're one step closer to facing the Windcaller!
