In Monster Hunter Wilds, crafting powerful weapons and armor requires numerous materials. Toxin Sacs are a crucial component for Rompopolo and certain Rathian/Gypceros gear. These sacs, filled with potent toxins, are harvested from specific monsters. This guide details their location.

Locating Toxin Sacs

Toxin Sacs are obtained from two High Rank Large Monsters: Gypceros and Rompopolo.

Gypceros can be found in the Windward Plains, Oilwell Basin, Iceshard Cliffs, and Ruins of Wyveria. Rompopolo resides in the Oilwell Basin.

Keep in mind, obtaining Toxin Sacs isn't guaranteed. Multiple hunts or captures may be necessary.

To increase your chances, consult the Environmental Overview (right side of your screen) on the World Map. This shows the availability of monsters in each region.

If the desired monsters aren't present, rest at your Tent (using Guild Points) to potentially trigger their appearance. Alternatively, join other hunters' High Rank Gypceros or Rompopolo SOS Flare Quests.

Access Alma's Quest Menu, select "SOS Flare Quests," and filter by High Rank difficulty. Low Rank monsters won't yield Toxin Sacs (they drop Poison Sacs instead).

Persistent hunting should eventually provide the Toxin Sacs needed for crafting.
