Crafting Uth Duna and Balahara gear in Monster Hunter Wilds requires more than just monster parts; you'll need Torrent Sacs, vital water-filled organs powering these weapons and armor. These aren't guaranteed drops, so farming is necessary. Here's how to obtain them:

Locating Torrent Sacs

Torrent Sacs have a chance of dropping from High Rank Uth Duna (Scarlet Forest) and High Rank Balahara (Windward Plains).

Keep in mind, a successful hunt doesn't guarantee a Torrent Sac; multiple hunts may be required.

Before you start farming, check your World Map's Environmental Overview (right-hand side) for Scarlet Forest and Windward Plains. This shows available Large Monsters, saving you time.

If neither Uth Duna nor Balahara are available, you have options:

  1. Rest at your Tent: Use Guild Points to advance time and set the environment to "Plenty" for increased monster spawns.

  2. Join SOS Flare Quests: Assist other hunters battling Uth Duna or Balahara. You'll still receive rewards, potentially including Torrent Sacs.

To join SOS Flare Quests, open Alma's Quest Menu, select "SOS Flare Quests," and filter for High Rank Uth Duna or Balahara. Low Rank versions do not drop Torrent Sacs (they drop Aqua Sacs).

Repeat this process until you acquire enough Torrent Sacs.
