One of the best features of Pokemon TCG Pocket is the instant access to a wide variety of card packs. Unlike physical stores, you're not limited to current releases; you can easily open packs from past expansions. This guide will show you how to select and open packs from any available expansion.

Accessing Past Expansions

If you don't have a pack ready to open, the game's homepage displays current packs, Wonder Pick, the Shop, and more.

Tap on any of the currently featured packs. This will take you to the familiar card pack screen; you won't be committed to opening that specific pack.

If you already have a free pack, the homepage is skipped. You don't need to return to it.

In the bottom-right corner, tap the "Select other booster packs" tab (indicated by an arrow).

This opens a screen showing all available expansions. Simply tap the expansion you wish to open packs from.

The screen will refresh, displaying the packs available within your chosen expansion. Select your desired pack.

Note: Some expansions, like Mythical Island, have only one pack. You'll still need to go through the selection process.

The game defaults to the latest expansion, so you'll need to repeat this process each time you want a different expansion.
