Destiny 2's Guardian Games returns with exciting changes! This year's competition features Rushdown, a new PvE boss rush mode where fireteams battle campaign and seasonal bosses like Savathun and Ghaul. Conquer these challenges to earn medallions, redeemable for exclusive rewards.
Earn powerful Trace Rifles, Heavy GLs, and more by participating. This guide covers event mechanics, medallion acquisition, and reward details.
Guardian Games Overview
Running from March 11th to April 1st, Guardian Games pits the three classes against each other in a high-stakes score battle. The class accumulating the most medallions wins bragging rights and a permanent in-game trophy. Gameplay involves a new PvE boss rush mode and a modified PvP Supremacy playlist. Wearing your class item while completing activities earns medallions, which are exchanged for rewards at Eva Levante's podium.
Best in Class Quest and Medallions
Begin by speaking to Eva Levante in the Tower. She provides the "Best in Class" quest and your class item—essential for earning medallions. Eva also sells Contender Cards: short-term quests offering high-value medallions for completing objectives in various playlists.
Medallions (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond) are deposited at the podium. Higher-tier medals (Gold and above) come from Contender Cards, with Diamond Medals limited to two per week per category. Your Medallion Case (Quests tab) holds up to five of each medal type.

Only one Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Contender Card can be held at a time. Diamond cards have a two-completion-per-week limit.
