In Fields of Mistria, restoring the town and managing your farm is only half the battle. Uncovering the mines' secrets requires venturing deep underground, where you'll encounter magical seals. This guide focuses on breaking the Fire Seal, unlocking further progress.

Reaching mine floor 60 reveals the Fire Seal. Show the tablet rubbing to Juniper for translation. Four items are needed for the offering. Three are readily found; the fourth requires a quest. Juniper will accompany you to Balor for the final item: a Sealing Scroll.

The quest splits into two: gathering materials and obtaining the scroll.

Breaking the Fire Seal

The Fire Seal requires:

• Faceted Rock Gem
• Rockroot
• Sealing Scroll
• Emerald

Here's how to acquire each:

Obtaining the Sealing Scroll:

Balor will contact you via mail once he finds a buyer. Visit him at the inn to discuss the price. The buyer demands untraceable ingots and gems. Deposit ten of each: Silver Ingots, Rubies, Emeralds, and Sapphires into the box near Balor's cart.

• Rubies: Found in the first mining region.
• Sapphires: Found in the second mining region.
• Emeralds: Found in the third mining region.
• Silver: Found on floors 41-59 (nine pieces needed per ingot).

After depositing the materials, speak with Balor. He'll deliver the Sealing Scroll the next morning. Do not open it!

Locating the Faceted Rock Gem:

This artifact is found randomly on floors 41-59. Diligent digging is key. Expect to spend several in-game days searching.

Finding an Emerald:

Emeralds are also found on floors 41-59, but are more common than the Faceted Rock Gem. Look for bright green nodes.
