To begin the Whispering Bench quest, you must first complete Divinso's Photo Investigation at Breezy Meadow's border gate. Help him locate three ghosts lined up along the windows, with a third hidden in nearby bushes. After finding them, Divinso will share a legend about the Queen's Palace Ruins, triggering the Whispering Bench quest. Travel north from the border to reach the ruins.
At the Queen's Palace Ruins, go to Violin Square at the entrance. Climb the stairs to the large violin statue and sit on a bench at night. Any bench will do.
The violin statue near the high tower is not the correct one; the correct statue is further north.
Once seated, a ghost sentinel will appear, seeking help with a task he can't perform as a spirit.
The ghost sentinel needs a Celebcrow feather to repair a treasured artifact. These dark birds are found throughout the ruins.
Some Celebcrows appear near the sentinel but flee if startled. Approach them slowly and carefully.
