Warframe's Duviri Paradox expansion introduced Incarnon Genesis Adapters, highly sought-after upgrades for endgame players. These adapters unlock Incarnon forms and weapon skill trees for specific weapon families, significantly boosting older, previously underpowered weapons.

Warframe: Incarnon Adapters Explained

Acquiring these powerful adapters requires tackling Warframe's most challenging content. This guide explains Incarnon Adapters, how to obtain them, and details each available adapter.

Updated March 14, 2025, by Charles Burgar: Update 37 (late 2024) added a new set of Incarnon Genesis Adapters. This guide has been updated to include the eighth set and revised information on older entries.

Understanding Incarnon Adapters

Warframe: Incarnon Adapters Explained

Incarnon Genesis Adapters infuse weapons with Incarnon abilities, adding an alternate fire mode and a unique skill tree. Similar to Zariman Incarnon weapons, these adapted weapons transform into their Incarnon form after achieving a combo multiplier or landing multiple headshots. This temporary transformation significantly enhances weapon performance.

Like Riven mods, Adapters are weapon-family specific. A Braton Adapter only works on Braton-family weapons (MK-1 Braton, Braton, Braton Prime, Braton Vandal). Installation occurs at Cavalero on the Zariman. After installation, complete challenges to unlock passive Incarnon bonuses.

Obtaining Incarnon Genesis Adapters

Warframe: Incarnon Adapters Explained

Incarnon Genesis Adapters are earned by completing Duviri's Circuit game mode on Steel Path difficulty. Before starting, choose two Adapters from five options; these determine your rank five and ten rewards.

Circuit progress functions like a Battle Pass. Complete more weekly Circuit missions (on Steel Path, with successful extraction) to advance. Track your progress on the reward UI before each run.

Alternatively, purchase Adapters from Cavalero using Platinum (Warframe's premium currency). He currently sells the second and eighth sets; each costs 120 Platinum. Purchased Adapters include installation resources but not the weapon itself. For example, a Boar Adapter requires a crafted Boar shotgun.

Weekly resets occur every Sunday at 0:00 UTC.

Installing Incarnon Adapters

Installation requires Duviri resources. Uninstall is possible at Cavalero, but resources are not refunded. Speak to Cavalero on the Zariman to install compatible Adapters found in the "Browse Incarnon Weapons" menu. Installation consumes Duviri materials.

Unlocking Incarnon evolutions mirrors standard Incarnon weapons:

  • Evolution I: Adapter installation (default).
  • Evolution II: Complete a solo mission with the weapon equipped (difficulty irrelevant).
  • Evolution III: Defeat 100 enemies using the Incarnon Form.
  • Evolution IV: Defeat 30 enemies under a specific condition (e.g., no reloading, 30m+ distance). This condition varies per weapon family.

Upgrade selection (at no resource cost) is available via Cavalero or the arsenal screen.
