This side quest begins by encountering Jezhek of Holohlavy at a crossroads southwest of Horschan in the Kuttenberg region. He attempts a robbery, but it's a ruse. You can either fight him (yielding when he surrenders) or use dialogue/skill checks to de-escalate. Regardless, he reveals he lost his armor and horse to Zavish of Garbow after a losing bet at Sigismund's Camp. Your task: recover his belongings.

1. Retrieving Jezhek's Equipment:

Convince the camp guards you're there for Jezhek to gain entry to Sigismund's Camp. Locate Zavish's tent near the central fence – he's often seated on a bench, close to a shield displaying a black eagle and three white stones.

2. Confronting Zavish:

Save your game before interacting with Zavish! Persuading him to a duel requires a successful skill check:

• Domination (24 recommended): Easier than Warfare.
• Warfare (very high required): Significantly harder.
• Charisma: Enhance your chances by wearing noble attire or consuming alcohol.

Failure necessitates stealing the equipment (extremely challenging).

3. The Duel with Zavish:

The duel comprises three rounds, each employing a different weapon type:

• Round 1 – Polearm Duel (Most Difficult): A high polearm skill (10 ) is highly beneficial. Prioritize openings, vary your attack directions, and try to corner Zavish. Losing this round isn't catastrophic.

• Round 2 – One-Handed Weapon & Shield Duel (Easier): The Captain's Mace is an excellent choice. Aim for his unshielded right side, utilize overhead attacks after his combos, and master blocking/parrying.

• Round 3 – Longsword Duel (Easiest): The Battle Longsword or Duelling Longsword are recommended. Focus on blocking and countering, employing master strikes and perfect blocks for maximum damage. Thrust attacks are effective during his recovery.

Winning two out of three rounds suffices.

4. Collecting the Rewards:

After the duel, Zavish reveals the location of the gear. Retrieve Jezhek's armor and a Brigandine (bonus loot) from the chest within his green tent. Jezhek's horse, identifiable by its yellow gear, is near the camp's eastern entrance.

5. Returning to Jezhek:

Ride the horse to the small inn east of Miskowitz (near Kuttenberg). The quest marker might be imprecise; wait for the objective update before dismounting.

Final Rewards: Jezhek expresses gratitude, awarding you a potent set of spurs.

Helpful Hints:

• Always save before speaking to Zavish.
• If the duel proves challenging, concentrate on the one-handed and longsword rounds.
• Boost your charisma with alcohol before the skill check.
• Don't overlook the Brigandine!
