How to Create and Join Lobbies in R.E.P.O.

REPO follows the horror style of "The Deadly Company" - weird locations, terrifying creatures, and just the right teamwork to make you question your friendship. But before you start screaming into the microphone, you need to figure out how to join the game lobby. Here are the basic guides on how to create and join a lobby.

How to create a game hall in REPO

If you have the best network (or most impatient waiting for delays), then you are the host. Here is how to set up a lobby:

  1. Start the game.
  2. Select Create Game.
  3. When the game asks if you are sure, press "Yes". (It will ask twice.)
  4. Start a new game or load the save (if you already have one).
  5. Press Yes again because REPO really hopes you are sure.
  6. Use the Invite button to invite your friends.

The game runs on a peer-to-peer server, which means that the network quality of the host will affect everyone. If your connection is pieced together with tape and hope, maybe someone else can serve as the host.

Not the host? This is simpler:

  1. Waiting for invitation.
  2. Accept the invitation.
  3. You're in.

That's it. There is no matching system. There is no open lobby (currently…but it will be available soon; click here for more information). It’s only you and your friends, trying to survive in a world that doesn’t want you to survive.

Future updates

As REPO is still in the early access stage, more online features are still under development. Before that, take your team—or get ready for a very lonely horror experience.
