Reaching Fior Mes Iverno:

Begin your journey southeast from Dawnshore. Upgrade your gear beforehand; this leg of the journey presents significant challenges. The consequences of Ygwulf's fate impact this section: killing him leads to Garryck's execution east of the Southern Embrace Party Camp.

East of the Emerald Stair Gatehouse Beacon lies a temple-like structure where Stecg awaits. Your approach will differ based on Ygwulf's fate (Writ of Passage or Dissident's Warning). Speak with Edda for information on the Inquisitor, then travel to Emerald Stair. Kai will offer the "Battle Scars" companion quest.
