Hiraiyama Fort Location

Located within Harima's Warfields region, Hiraiyama Fort is nestled within the mountains. While seemingly remote, you'll naturally reach this area during other quests, particularly "Retrieve the Ox's invasion plan" while hunting Bessho Harumasa. You can postpone your visit until this point in your adventure.

Eliminating the First Samurai Daisho

Upon reaching the fort, scale the small wall to the left for entry. After surveying the area, silently traverse rooftops to the opposite side of the courtyard. Eliminate the guard perched on a ledge. Climb the scaffolding to reach a building overlooking the first Samurai Daisho.

For a swift, silent takedown, use the wire to cross to the opposite rooftop. Distract the guard observing the Daisho and his companion using a Shinobi Bell. Equip your tanto and perform a double assassination. Quickly eliminate the remaining guard in the bushes to avoid complications.

Eliminating the Second Samurai Daisho

From the courtyard where you eliminated the first Daisho, proceed to the nearby watchtower. Silently eliminate the guard inside and climb to the top for a better view.

The second half of the fort extends further up the mountain. Proceed along the right side for fewer guards. Eliminate the ground-level guard working on equipment, then scale the wall to the far right. Deal with the guards on the scaffolding and in the courtyard.

5. Crouch and rush to eliminate the Daisho.

Aim to reach the Daisho when they're past the bell alert tower—sabotage it when convenient.

Hiraiyama Fort Rewards

Defeating both Samurai Daisho grants access to Hiraiyama Fort's loot, including a Legendary Chest.

Additional Loot

Hiraiyama Fort offers substantial additional loot:

• Key: Found in a heavily guarded house on the fort's northern side. Eliminate the guard near a shed, then the patrolling samurai before proceeding to the house with the chest.
• First Door: Located in a shed in the central northern part of the fort. Contains two blue chests.
• Second Door: The other shed, accessible after obtaining the key, is located near the path leading to the second Daisho.
• Other Chests: Several chests containing weapons, cosmetics, and crafting materials are scattered throughout the fort.

The red Legendary Chest, located in the same house as the key, contains:
