Avowed: A Comprehensive Guide to the "Nature vs. Nurture" Side Quest

The "Nature vs. Nurture" side quest in Avowed begins in the Emerald Stair region, after reaching a certain point in the main storyline. They'll ask you to investigate a nearby Xaurip camp.

The Xaurip camp lies northwest of the Farmer's Market, within a swamp. Be prepared for a fight; stock up on consumables before heading out. You'll encounter Belenna, who will initiate the "Missing Rangers" side quest (optional).

Explore the camp thoroughly before proceeding. Climb the rock ledges to unlock the Fortified Xaurip Camp Beacon for fast travel. At the top, you'll find a cave – the Fortified Xaurip Camp. Collect nearby loot: Magran's Fury, Hylea's Talon, and Hunt's Hair.
