Assassin's Creed Shadows - Yakami Fort Exploration Guide

In Assassin's Creed Shadows, conquering forts offers legendary loot and experience. This guide focuses on Yakami Fort, a late-game area best tackled stealthily, particularly if under-leveled. Naoe's silent approach is highly recommended.

Yakami Fort Location:

Located centrally in Tamba, between Takeda and Arashiyama. The nearest fast travel point is Yakima Kakurega near Hatano's House, west of the fort.

Assassinating Samurai Daisho:

Enter from the northwest. Only one Samurai Daisho needs eliminating. Proceed southeast to the central courtyard, then south and east towards the southern side. Circle to the scaffolding, enter a building, and continue south. Ignore the tower initially. In the southernmost courtyard, you'll find Daisho berating an underling. A double assassination from the roof is ideal. If under-leveled, prepare for combat after the initial strike.

Yakami Fort Rewards:

After defeating Daisho, loot the fort. Avoid raising alarms.

Side Loot:

• Key: In the central courtyard, behind distracted guards.
• Chests & Resources: Multiple chests and resource piles are scattered throughout the fort; locations are detailed in the original text. Note the strategic placement of enemies guarding some of these.

Legendary Chest:

Located in a small house on the western side. Time your entry to avoid the patrolling guard. Contains 3,000 exp, an engraving, and the Tremor Strike Legendary Kanabo for Yasuke.

Synchronization Viewpoint:

Atop a guarded tower in the southeast. Defeat the guards before climbing. Provides a new fast travel point. The synchronization scene can be skipped.
