Pokemon Go continues to roll out new in-game events each season, each possessing its own unique theme and set of bonuses and features. This season, Might and Mastery, they are debuting the Stunning Styles Event, a limited-time event that will feature several Pokemon that possess different forms, versions, or styles.

The Stunning Styles Event will last for about five days, spanning from Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10am local time, to Monday, April 7, 2025, at 8pm local time. This event will include different Pokemon GO debuts, event-exclusive releases, and several in-game bonuses; our complete guide below includes all the information you will need to know about each of these features.

How To Get Paldean Tauros In Pokemon Go

Paldean Tauros will be available to encounter and catch for the first time in Pokemon Go starting with this event. Paldean Tauros has three different forms: Combat Breed, Blaze Breed, and Aqua Breed; each differing when it comes to their typing.

In Pokemon Go, you will have the opportunity of encountering one of these three forms, depending on which region you are playing the game in. Below we have provided you with a table showing each of these Paldean Tauros forms with the region you will need to be playing in for you to encounter them.

During this event, you will have the opportunity to battle against Palden Tauros in its own Three-Star Raid, requiring you to defeat this Pokemon in order to encounter and catch it.

Stunning Styles Event Bonuses

There will be two main bonuses active throughout the Stunning Styles Event, both available to all players free of charge. The first bonus will further reward you when catching different Pokemon during this event, rewarding you with double the XP for each successful Pokemon catch.

You can use the Lucky Egg item to further the XP you gain when catching Pokemon.

Using this item will double all XP that you earn for 30 minutes.

The second bonuses will give you increased chances of encounter both Shiny West Sea Shellos and Shiny East Sea Shellos. During this event, you will be able to encounter these two Pokemon in One-Star Raids and as a research reward.

Event Wild Encounter Pokemon

There will be a handful of Pokemon appearing more frequently in the wild during this event, all following the theme of this event. This includes:

• Castform (Normal, Sunny, Rainy, and Snowy Forms)
• Burmy (Plant, Sandy, and Trash Cloak)

Event Raid Pokemon

You can also expect to see specific event-themed Pokemon found in Raids during the days of the Stunning Styles Event, including both One-Star and Three-Star Raids. Below you can find each of these event Raid Pokemon with the type of Raid that they will be defending.

Event Research

A Striking Shadow Special Research Story

There will be a new Special Research Story available to all players who log into Pokemon Go starting on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10am local time, titled Special Research Story: A Striking Shadow. Make sure to complete the tasks that are part of this Special Research, providing you with different rewards, including an encounter with Marshadow, a Mythical Pokemon.

You will not need to complete this Special Research Story by the end of the Stunning Styles Event.

Once it has been unlocked, you will have as much time as you need to complete it.

Free Timed Research

Players who log in during this event will be provided with free Timed Research, tasking you with completing specific in-game objectives before the conclusion of the Stunning Styles Event. Completing these objectives will reward you with:

• Clamperl, Espurr, and Morpeko encounters.
• Ten Kubfu Candy.
• One extra Candy when catching Pokemon (After completing this Timed Research).
• Higher likelihood of receiving Candy XL when catching Pokemon (After completing this Timed Research).

Paid Timed Research

You will be able to unlock additional Timed Research for the Stunning Styles Event, requiring you to purchase it through the Pokemon Go in-game shop for $2.00 USD. Completing the tasks for this Paid Timed Research will provide you with several in-game items and rewards, each provided for you below:

• West Sea Shellos, East Sea Shellos, and Espurr encounters.
• Four Premium Battle Passes.
• One Lucky Egg.
• One Star Piece.

Event Field Research Tasks

Spinning different PokeStops during the Stunning Styles Event will provide you with Event Field Research Tasks, only available during this event window. These tasks will require you to complete a specific in-game objective, rewarding you with an event-themed Pokemon encounter when completed.
