After playing Assassin's Creed Shadows for a bit, you'll quickly realize that it's best to follow the game's suggested path to go from one location to another as you can easily get lost if you try to cut through the mountains. However, there are some paths where you can't get the little white line to guide you.

These are known as the hidden trails, and you can find a bunch of them around the map. The Path of Silence is one of these trails, and it's particularly easy to get lost in this one if you don't pay attention to your surroundings.

Path Of Silence Location

If you want to reach the Path of Silence in Assassin's Creed Shadows, you'll first have to arrive at the Tamba province, which can be found to the north of Harima and west of Yamashiro. In this province, you'll see an area called the Tamba Highlands on the eastern side.

When you keep the map on 2x zoom, you can find this path right below where "Tamba" of Tamba Highlands is written on the map. To get to it, you can go a bit to the west from Green Fields Kakurega and then go straight south past the Ruins of Kumoryuji Temple fast-travel.

How To Beat Path Of Silence

Once you arrive at the Path of Silence, you'll see a yellow ribbon tied to a tree on one of its side and the shrine on the other. You can start by climbing on the wall to the right of the shrine with yellow marks on it. Once at the top, take the stairs on the right and then jump through the gap on your right.

Go forward in this gap and you'll find a small space that Naoe can crawl through. Past this space, go up the wall on the right again and walk through the rope. On the other side, you can slide down into the shallow water and then jump up on the wall with a yellow marking in the front.

You'll then reach a broken bridge where you can grapple to the other side, go through a tiny gap in the wall, jump up another wall, and then down in the water. After jumping down, you can go on land on the left side, go up the wall, and then through another crawl space.

You'll then have to parkour to the other side using a tree branch in the middle. Next, use the rope and get to the top of the small island in the middle of the water before grappling to the other side.

Go up another wall here and the path from here is fairly straightforward where you have to jump on some tree branches and grapple once more. You'll then go up a few stairs and find the chest at the end.

Path Of Silence Rewards

Upon reaching the end of the Path of Silence, you can get a rare chest with the Hibiki's Hood purple-tier headgear for Naoe in it. Other than that, you can also get 1,000 XP and one Knowledge Point. The latter can be used to unlock better abilities in all the skill trees for both characters.
