From the outset, you'll need citizens to fulfill various roles – woodcutters, miners, farmers, factory workers, engineers, and more – to maintain a functioning city. Housing, Needs, and Luxuries

Your city's population capacity for each of the four classes (Laborers, Manufacturers, Technicians, and Specialists) is directly tied to available housing. More housing equals a larger workforce. (See the Immigration section for details.) Meeting your citizens' needs and providing luxuries are essential for maintaining high morale and maximizing tax revenue.

Housing

Housing is class-specific. Each class has standard and high-rise options:

• Standard Housing: 4x4 footprint, houses up to 30 people.
• High-Rise Housing: 6x4 footprint, houses up to 80 people. Requires more advanced building materials.

While more expensive, high-rises are significantly more space-efficient.

Needs

Needs are essential for survival and maintaining a basic standard of living. For every 40 citizens in a class, you need one unit of each of their required needs.

Each class requires the needs of the lower classes, plus their own:
