Saika Castle Location

Located southwest of Kii, Saika Castle lies south of Saika and west of Sazae Oni Shores. The nearest fast travel point is Saika Kakurega, just north of the castle entrance.

Assassinating the Samurai Daisho

Begin your approach from the north. Instead of directly confronting the guards, circumvent the main entrance via the broken wall to the left. Use your grappling hook to ascend the nearby tower for a strategic overview.

First Daisho: After looting the northeastern courtyard, proceed south to the eastern courtyard. The first Daisho is inside a house, surrounded by guards. Eliminate a patrolling guard near the wall, silently enter the house, and assassinate the Daisho.

Second Daisho: Head west from the eastern courtyard to the south-central courtyard. The second Daisho is near a small house. Wait for the nearby guard to move, then air assassinate the Daisho from an overlooking rooftop.

Third Daisho: The final Daisho is within the central Saika Castle Courtyard and its Tenshu (tower). Climb the Tenshu for the viewpoint and then descend. Eliminate guards strategically, using Eagle Vision and cover to isolate and assassinate the third Daisho.

Saika Castle Rewards

Defeating the Daisho unlocks significant rewards.

Side Loot: A key found in the northeastern courtyard opens sheds in both the northeast and southeast courtyards, revealing chests and resources. Additional loot is scattered throughout the castle, including chests in the eastern courtyard and the Tenshu basement.

Legendary Chest: Located in the Tenshu basement, this chest contains an engraving, 3,000 experience points, and the Tale Smasher Legendary Kanabo for Yasuke.
