In Assassin's Creed Shadows, hostile zones, marked by red or yellow bars on the map's directional scale, are rife with challenges. Locating and Entering Katano Castle

First, progress through the game's prologue until you secure your hideout. From your hideout, travel northwest to the Katano Foothills. Continuing northwest will lead you to Katano City, with the castle situated to the east. A fast travel point inside the castle will appear on your compass once you are close enough. Note: fast travel is disabled within the castle's red zone.

The castle's map reveals multiple entry points, but the most efficient is the southeastern edge. Here, a simple climb over a few crates provides easy access.

Defeating the Samurai Daisho

To claim the main loot and complete the castle objective, you must defeat two Samurai Daisho. These formidable foes possess multiple health bars and a yellow armor bar, demanding strategic combat. Prioritize eliminating other enemies first.

Before entering, upgrade Naoe and unlock smoke bombs – invaluable for managing groups of enemies. After entering through the southeastern entrance, proceed along the castle's top to the right.

Eliminate the initial group. One enemy will investigate the assassinated body; wait for him to approach before eliminating him as well.

Next, head west and take down the enemy near a stone slab while the Daisho is absent. This allows for a stealth assassination of the first Daisho.

While enemies respawn after a season reset, the defeated Daisho will not.

Acquiring the Legendary Chest

After defeating both Daisho, locate the large building on the castle's southwest side (with the fast travel point). Use your grapple to climb onto the roof.

Access the building through a window on the northwestern side (a samurai is present but easily assassinated). Use eagle vision to navigate the building, as enemies patrol frequently. The legendary chest, containing Tools Master light armor (for Naoe) and Kunai Throw on Assassinate engraving, is located in the central room on the lower floor.

Additional yellow dots on the map (using the observe button) indicate other chests, resources, and points for resource smuggling at the season's end.
