I know. You hate parallax effects. But do you know what's more annoying? When previously effective technology on the webpage stops working without any clear warning or cause.

Back in 2014, Keith Clark published a blog about a very clever CSS trick where you can basically use CSS transforms to narrow down the scale of an element, affecting its scrolling appearance, and then "deeply corrected" back to "normal" size. It looks like we played this trick for five years, but it stopped working in iOS 13.
