Inspired by the return of the Marvel Swimsuit Special comic after a 30-year hiatus, the game will feature a collection of summer-themed costumes. This collaboration, seemingly Marvel's most successful cross-media venture outside the MCU, leans into the game's established aesthetic.

The announcement teases a playful, almost Playboy-esque approach: Roxxon Comics creates an unauthorized swimsuit special, prompting Marvel heroes to stage their own global fashion shoot. The comic, MARVEL SWIMSUIT SPECIAL: FRIENDS, FOES & RIVALS #1, promises numerous splash pages of stunning artwork, with a story to… well, let's just say it's there.

The comic showcases over 15 heroes, including several not yet in the game (She-Hulk, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Captain Marvel, Wasp, and Mary Jane).
