Standard Chartered Global Digital Asset Research Director released this bold prediction: XRP price could rise rapidly to $12.5 and surpass Ethereum to become the second largest cryptocurrency in market capitalization before the end of its next presidency.

In his latest report, "The Seven Deadly Sins of (Digital) Integration", Jeffrey Kendrick pointed out that XRP's market value may surpass Ethereum by the end of 2028.

According to CoinGecko, XRP currently has a market capitalization of more than $110 billion, ranking high among crypto assets, second only to Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether.

By comparison, Ethereum currently has a market capitalization of about $183 billion.

XRP's market value peaked at $190 billion in January this year, surpassing Tether at one point and ranking third.

Kendrick's forecast is based on several factors, including expected regulatory benefits and increased institutional investment.
