Cal Evans，一个在IT界从业26年的开发者，在大量研究了PHP运行在Windows的情况之后，做出了两个令他自己感到吃惊的结论：

1 只要安装正确，PHP在Windows上运行的十分流畅。

Cal在VirtualBox上安装Windows Server 08并进行实验。安装方法为使用Web Platform Installer安装PHP，FastCGI，URL Re-writer以及WordPress。虽然没有自带MySQL，不过Cal对运行性能非常满意，尤其是Wordpress运行的很好。（相关阅读：
