什么是二级域名呢
听说申请域名的时候给两个域名，一个是带www的，一个是不带的，又听说不带www的就是二级域名，不知是这样吗，还有，有没有三级域名、四级域名呢，干脆N级域名呢。

那如果我想再解析一个二级域名，比如cade.abcdefg.com 是不是说cade就是一台服务器名呢

如果是自己定义，那么看来使用二级或二级以上的域名就不用交钱才能使用吧？
简单的说，你这里要面对三个商家：注册商、域名解析商、空间（服务器）供应商
注册商只管注册域名如xxx.com，注册时允许你指定一个dns（域名解析商），可更改，这个收费各家区别一般不大
域名解析商帮你解析xxx.com到一个ip（服务器），也能解析前缀xxx.xxx.com到相应ip，是否收费要看服务，一般都会免费提供www这个前缀，就是www.xxx.com
空间供应商就是上面提到那个ip的拥有者，能在上面给你空间存放并开放为web(http)服务，费用也要看服务协议
你现在的状况是可能上面三个商家中的其中两个或者三个都是同一家，就出现合并收费的问题
所以你注册时 最重要是找到一家 可信的域名注册商，你 有权限更改dns，否则你的域名解析权就控制在别人手里了，当出现纠纷，他就能让你的网站找不到（无论你换什么空间，不能指定dns就是白搭），这种事我见得多了。当然，如果法律文件记录你是域名拥有者，你可以向域名管理中心申诉取回控制权，但这些是文书方面的请求，手续是相当麻烦的。
如果你想带前缀的域名不用付费，有两个方法：
1.你自己充当域名解析商这个角色，当然你要有相关的DNS服务器或类似软件，如果子域名不多，不一定要服务器硬件，但带宽和并发数响应能力是一定要满足的
2.现在有一些免费的域名解析商，你可以自己找找，因为涉及到墙的问题，这里就不多说了
一般商家也不会太黑的，找到一家可信的，能自己设置dns，可添加一定数量name记录的就足够了
上面的兄弟说的比较清楚了：
www.baidu.com 一级 ，但是般情况下你直接在浏览器里输入 baidu.com 就可以了，也就是说 www可以省掉。
wenku.baidu.com 为二级，不可省略，最前面不能加www。
三级类似，最左边加域名，跟一个点“.”，后再跟二级。
四级可参考三级.

理论上～应该免费，但这个也占服务器资源，所以服务商也可能限制，大商家就有能力无限添加
如果你的注册商不提供多级域名，但可以让你修改指定DNS，你可以指定到一个另外的免费或收费的DNS服务商那里
