On the WeChat public platform, there is a template message reply interface: it can be used to reply to specific messages - for example, after the user places an order, reply to the user that your order is being processed...such as the following Picture:

After the user performs some operations, the service account can return a specific message - this is a template message.

To implement replying to template messages, your public account must be certified by WeChat. If it is a personal subscription account, WeChat certification is not supported for the time being. However, it does not affect testing ----- you can use the testing official account:

After using the QR code to log in to the test account, you need to use your WeChat account to follow the test account, otherwise you will not see the reply to the template message.

When I was doing the test, I used a plug-in for the Chrome browser: postman. This plug-in can specify to send various HTTP requests such as GET and POST. It is powerful and useful when testing interfaces.

1. Send a GET request to obtain the access_token of the test account: https://api.weixin.qq.com/cgi-bin/token?grant_type=client_credential&appid=your test account appID&secret=your test account appsecret

To specifically send a post request, you can use curl to send it, which should not be difficult. I use postman to send. After the sending is completed, a successful json message is returned, and then you can proceed to the next step

3. Obtain the template ID: You can customize this area, or you can use some built-in ones in WeChat.

For example, use a custom template ID: There is a "New Test Template" in your test account

Then another way to generate a template ID is to send a post request (can be sent with curl or sent with postman)

The TM00015 is the ID of the template built into WeChat. You can find it in the graphical interface of https://mp.weixin.qq.com (WeChat authentication required)

color represents the color of the fields in your template

When you get this successful response, at the same time, your test public account should also return a template message to you (follower)
