Integration of Apache and Tomcat under Windows (Vertrigo)_PHP Tutorial

apache php tomcat

In order to achieve integration, I searched a lot of information online! After trying many times, I finally successfully integrated it! I will share the integration process with you below, hoping to provide help to those who need it in the future.

Preparation:

1. VertrigoServ 2.23 download address: http://sourceforge.net/projects/vertrigo/files/VertrigoServ/2.23/Vertrigo_223.exe/download

2. Tomcat 6.0.18 download address: http://down.51cto.com/data/149175/

3. JDK download address: http://www.java.net/download/jdk6/6u10/promoted/b32/binaries/jdk-6u10-rc2-bin-b32-windows-i586-p-12_sep_2008.exe If it is just an application, you can also choose to install JRE, because JRE is relatively small:)

4. mod_jk-1.2.31-httpd-2.0.52.so Download address: http://www.apache.org/dist/tomcat/tomcat-connectors/jk/binaries/win32/jk-1.2.31 /mod_jk-1.2.31-httpd-2.0.52.so Note that the JK version must be the same as the Apache version. Because the apache version integrated by vertrigo 2.23 is Apache 2.0.64, you must install mod_jk-1.2.31-httpd-2.0.52.so. If it is another version, you can download it from http://www.apache.org/dist/tomcat/tomcat-connectors/jk/binaries/win32/jk-1.2.31/.

Start installation:

The installation order of the software can be adjusted appropriately, but JDK (JRE) must be installed before Tomcat:

1. Install JDK (JRE). Either default or customized installation is available here. After the installation is complete, set your system environment variables as follows: My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Environment Variables (What you want to add here are system variables, not user variables)

JAVA_HOME = C:Program FilesJavajre6

CLASSPATH = .;%Java_Home%libtools.jar;%Java_Home%libdt.jar; PATH = %Java_Home%bin

Note that the path of JAVA_HOME is changed to your actual installation path. The other two remain unchanged.

2. Install vertrigo 2.23. The installation process is relatively simple. Just double-click the installation package and follow it step by step. After the installation is complete, run it and enter http://127.0.0.1 in the browser. If Welcome to VertrigoServ appears The blue configuration interface. Congratulations, you have successfully installed it. As for the usage, it is relatively simple, so I won’t introduce it one by one here.

3. Install Tomcat. Unzip Tomcat to D:tomcat and set environment variables:

CATALINA_BASE = D:tomcat CATALINA_HOME = D:tomcat CLASSPATH = TALINA_HOME%libservlet-api.jar

Run D:tomcatbinstartup.bat to start Tomcat. If the Tomcat page appears, the installation is successful.

4. Install JK

Copy mod_jk-1.2.31-httpd-2.0.52.so to C:Program FilesVertrigoServApachemodules (I installed vertrigo under the C drive).

Configure the server below :

1. Configure Tomcat. Find the conf/server.xml file in the Tomcat directory, and add the following statement in the middle of to modify its default directory:

Here, if path is not empty, a virtual directory is set, and the value of path is the name of the virtual directory. docBase="D:tomcatwebapps" can be modified based on your actual situation.

Look for the conf/workers.properties file in the Tomcat directory, and compare the text below. If there are any differences, make modifications based on the text below.

workers.tomcat_home=D:tomcat #Let the mod_jk module know the location of Tomcat workers.java_home=C:Program FilesJavajre6 #Let the mod_jk module know the location of jre ps= worker.list=ajp13 #Module version worker.ajp13.port= 8009 #Working port, if it is not occupied, there is no need to modify worker.ajp13.host=localhost #This machine, if the Apache host above is not localhost, modify it accordingly worker.ajp13.type=ajp13 #Type worker.ajp13.lbfactor=1 #Agent number, no need to modify

If this file does not exist, create it based on the above content. Any modifications to Tomcat settings must be restarted to take effect.

2. Configure Apache. Open httpd.conf, add the following code at the end and save it.

LoadModule jk_module modulesmod_jk-1.2.26-httpd-2.2.4.so #The mod_jk file here is the file you downloaded JkWorkersFile "D:Tomcatconfworkers.properties" #Specify the tomcat listening configuration file address JkLogFile "D:Tomcatlogsmod_jk2. log" #Specify the log storage location JkLogLevel info

Find #NameVirtualHost *:80, and then remove the # sign.

#Set up virtual host

#Make a choice based on your actual situation Options Indexes FollowSymLinks AllowOverride all Order Allow,Deny Allow from all Options ServerAdmin webmaster@dummy -host.example.com DocumentRoot "D:tomcatwebapps" #Make a choice based on your actual situation ServerName test.iddsms.com ErrorLog logs/dummy-host.example.com-error_log CustomLog logs/dummy-host.example.com-access_log common JkMount /servlet/* ajp13 #Let Apache support servlet transmission for Tomcat parsing JkMount /*.jsp ajp13 #Let Apache support jsp transmission for Tomcat parsing JkMount /*.do ajp13 #Let Apache support .do Transmitted for Tomcat to parse After all modifications are completed, double-click the Apache icon in the system tray, and then click Start to start the Apache service. Enter http://localhost/ in the address bar, and http://localhost:8080/. If the results are the same, Apache and Tomcat are successfully integrated.

PHP uses MySQLi and PDO extensions to interact in database operations and server-side logic processing, and processes server-side logic through functions such as session management. 1) Use MySQLi or PDO to connect to the database and execute SQL queries. 2) Handle HTTP requests and user status through session management and other functions. 3) Use transactions to ensure the atomicity of database operations. 4) Prevent SQL injection, use exception handling and closing connections for debugging. 5) Optimize performance through indexing and cache, write highly readable code and perform error handling.
