First download APACHE2.050, PHP5, MYSQL4.0.20, PHPMYADMIN2.57
apache_2.0.50-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi
php-5.0.0-Win32.zip
mysql from various official websites -4.0.20d-win.zip
phpMyAdmin-2.5.7.zip
The operating system win2003 system disk is: D drive
Step 1: Install apache and configure to support PHP
Click the installation file apache_2 .0.50-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi
Install apache in the D:apache2 directory (as you like)
Extract the contents of php-5.0.0-Win32.zip to D:php
Find php.ini-dist in the php directory, rename it to php.ini and copy it to the windows directory (winnt in win2k)
For example, my php.ini is copied to the D:windows directory
Copy php5ts.dll and libmysql.dll in the php directory to the system directory (system/system32). For example, mine is in D:windowssystem
Configure httpd.conf in apache
Open the file D:Apache2confhttpd.conf
Find AddDefaultCharset ISO-8859-1 and change it to AddDefaultCharset GB2312 (let the default language encoding be Simplified Chinese)
Find DocumentRoot "D:/Apache2/htdocs" and change it to your WEB directory (can be left unchanged) such as Mine is for DocumentRoot "D:/website"
Find DirectoryIndex index.html index.html.var and add index.htm index.php
Select the installation mode: Modular mode installation or CGI mode installation (choose one) That’s it)

where d: /php/php5apache2.dll Find the line AddType application/x-gzip .gz .tgz for the location of php5apache2.dll in your php directory

AddType application/x-httpd- php .php
