Chapter 2 Starting Apache 2.1 Starting Apache httpd This program can be started by the Internet service program inetd every time there is a connection to enter the HTTP service, or alternatively, it can also be used as a service The program (daemon) continues to execute and handle requests. If config does not start with /, it will be treated as a path relative to the ServerRoot.
