That is, the value of PATH is seen in the PHP4 configuration file, only c:windows;
c:windowssystem;c:mysqlbin;c:apache
There is no setting option for this PATH in httpd.conf!

to autoexec.bat PATH=%PATH%;c:php4;c:mysqlbin;c:apache;

Some friends asked me why after PHP4 was installed as an APACHE module, the startup speed of apache decreased
Slowed down!
This does not conflict with what I said in the article. What I meant in the article is the execution efficiency of PHP files,
Rather than the speed of APACHE.
PHP4 is installed as a module of APACHE. When APACHE starts, the mod_php4.dll file must be loaded.
The startup speed will definitely be slow!!
The startup speed of APACHE should also be related to the PHP_*.DLL file. Open PHP.INI and delete all the files you don’t want
Comment out all required php4_***.dll files!
;extension=php4_*.dll
This will speed up startup!
Because these files also need to be loaded when it starts.

Someone also asked me why PHP4 conflicts with the software on the machine after it is installed as an APACHE module.
