I have been doing ASP, and recently started learning PHP. My first work is this micro forum (it can also be called a guestbook). Although it has no technical content, I remember that when I first came to the classic forum in 2004 to learn ASP, it was difficult to get started, so I wanted to write down some of my recent experiences in learning PHP. , I hope to give some reference to friends who are learning PHP like me, so that beginners can make fewer detours and go more smoothly. It can be considered as my contribution to the forum. (Actually, I feel guilty for saying this is a tutorial. Mainly because I am also a beginner and am not good at coding. I hope experienced people can give me some advice).

It is best to have a basic PHP book at hand. One of the books I use is "Proficient in PHP+MYSQL Application Development" by People's Posts and Telecommunications (many people have reported that it is not very good); the other is "Basic PHP Tutorial" by Beijing Institute of Technology Press is an older book, but it introduces PHP functions in more detail. My ability to express myself in words is limited, so I hope my classmates who can’t understand will scold me...

Also: I am using my off-duty time to write this article, and plan to improve this small forum while writing. Because time is limited and the author’s level is even more limited, I plan to update a little bit every day until I finish writing. I think it will be very difficult to finish it all at once. I hope everyone will forgive me)

Let’s start:

Functions of my forum:

Users are divided into three levels: visitors; registered users; administrators
Users: user registration; login; post; reply; edit own posts;
Management Member: Manage (including adding, modifying, deleting) forum sections; manage posts (top, highlight, move, delete);
If the section is fully open, visitors can also post.
