A brief introduction to PHP open source frameworks and platforms XAMPP, Wamp5 and AppServ
php is a dynamic and promising open source web program
For example: Joomla and Drupal in
CMS, Wordpress and b2evolution in
BLOG,
WIKI MediaWiki, TikiWiki, phpMyAdmin, TurboDbAdmin of
database management tools, SugarCRM in
CRM, WebERP in
ERP,
They are all developed using php. The PHP language is simple, unstructured, and pursues freedom. This is one of the original driving forces of open source software.
php’s operating platforms generally include LAMP and WAMP. Basically, almost all current Linux distributions include LAMP by default, and the PHP integrated environment WAMP under the Windows operating system is more convenient for us to experiment and deploy.
Generally speaking, we can test and deploy our site on WAMP, and then migrate it to LAMP for formal application.
XAMPP, Wamp5 and AppServ Brief description
XAMPP is a
Apache distributions of MySQL, PHP and Perl that are easy to install and use.
XAMPP based on Windows is suitable for almost all Windows platforms, including Apache, MySQL, PHP + PEAR, Perl, mod_php, OpenSSL, phpMyAdmin, FileZilla FTP Server and SQLite, etc.
Wamp5 is one of the versions of WampServer developed by Romain Bourdon. WampServer focuses on the Windows platform, and the installation and setup are extremely simple. Currently, Romain Bourdon has officially launched the new version of WampServer 2.0.
Wamp5 has many users. It integrates Apache, MySQL, PHP, phpmyadmin and SQLite. It can support both PHP5 and PHP4 through plug-ins, and supports Apache's mod_rewrite.
Wamp5 runs well under WinXP, win2000, win2003. After the installation is complete, a tray will appear in the lower right corner of the system. Many functions only need to be configured through the tray menu.
AppServ was developed by Thais and is a lightweight php integration platform. AppServ includes PHP, Apache, MySQL, phpMyAdmin and Perl, requires Zend Optimizer, you need to download and install it from Zend official website. AppServ2.4.x corresponds to php4, and 2.5.x corresponds to php5. Different versions include different versions of MySql and other content. Plug-ins such as Rewrite and Curl are not supported by default. It needs to be configured in httpd.conf, and libeay32.dll, php5ts.dll, php_curl.dll, ssleay32.dll needs to be copied to the system32 directory of the system.
The above is a brief introduction to the PHP open source framework and platforms XAMPP, Wamp5 and AppServ, including relevant content. I hope it will be helpful to friends who are interested in PHP tutorials.
