Return to WordPress
I have always liked using WordPress. It is easy to use, the templates are easy to customize, and there are many virtual hosts to choose from when building websites in China. Since WordPress was upgraded, the official website cannot be opened, and online themes cannot be browsed after installing WordPress from GitHub. Everything seemed unfriendly, so I had no choice but to leave WordPress. I tried other methods to build a website, but I was not very satisfied:
- Use Jkeyll to build static websites, there is too little demand in this area in China;
- DreamWeaver CMS and Empire CMS are required to be used for commercial purposes;
- ThinkPHP and Laravel need to be deployed to cloud hosts, which is costly.
Today I saw the Chinese optimized version of WordPress 4.1.1, all the previous problems have been solved:
- 【Google Fonts】Speed up access to Google fonts;
- [Theme Store] Fixed the bug that the built-in theme store pictures cannot be browsed;
- 【Plug-in Store】Fix the bug that the plug-in store cannot be accessed;
- 【Avatar Acceleration】Accelerate the loading speed of background avatars;
- [Fixed connection] Add Niginx Rewrite configuration file;
- Other 4.1.1 original bug fixes.
WordPress is better!
Thank you Dianyun!
Note:
- On April 13, 2015, Dianyun’s app store could not be opened; I hope readers will send me a text message after finding out that the app store can be opened. Thanks!
The above introduces the return to WordPress, including aspects of the content. I hope it will be helpful to friends who are interested in PHP tutorials.

A step-by-step guide to replacing a header image of WordPress: Log in to the WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance >Theme. Select the topic you want to edit and click Customize. The following types can be considered: based on .htaccess: efficient, but complex operation; database operation: flexible, but low efficiency; firewall: high security performance, but complex configuration; self-written: highest control, but requires more technical level.

WordPress editing dates can be canceled in three ways: 1. Install the Enable Post Date Disable plug-in; 2. Add code in the functions.php file; 3. Manually edit the post_modified column in the wp_posts table.

You can view the WordPress front-end by logging into the dashboard and switching to the View Sites tab; automate the viewing process with a headless browser; installing the WordPress plugin to preview the front-end within the dashboard; viewing the front-end via a local URL (if WordPress is set locally).

Importing WordPress source code requires the following steps: Create a sub-theme for theme modification. Import the source code and overwrite the files in the sub-topic. Activate the sub-theme to make it effective. Test the changes to make sure everything works.

The steps to create a custom header in WordPress are as follows: Edit the theme file "header.php". Add your website name and description. Create a navigation menu. Add a search bar. Save changes and view your custom header.
