I built a novel using Python and WordPress stand.

Since I am not very familiar with writing PHP code, writing a website directly is likely to encounter various security vulnerabilities. Comparing the currently popular blog frameworks wordpress, joomla, and drupal, I finally chose wordpress, which has a wider audience. After that, I selected a set of novel templates and got started~~

2. Improvement of novel content

2.1 Data capture

as For a novel site, the most important thing is the content of the novel. The more popular novel collection plug-ins in the traditional market have various shortcomings. With its own expertise in data capture, it uses targeted crawling for several novel sites. Dozens of fields are subdivided, stored in MongoDB database, and weight judgment is implemented to prevent repeated crawling.

2.2 Content Upload

Due to the wordpress framework, content upload naturally requires the classic wordpress library file-wordpress_xmlrpc. wordpress_xmlrpc is used to upload novel article content and tags. However, the library still has limitations. It is useless to enter the various categories of article classification. So, I simulated wordpress myself and automatically classified each field of the post directory. At the same time, there is a huge amount of information in the novel information input post, and there are too many fields in the purely simulated login post. Finally, we considered directly inserting relevant data from the MySQL database to implement updates. In summary, there are three update methods:

• wordpress_xmlrpc module upload

• python simulates background login and active upload

• Directly update MySQL database related content to achieve front-end updates

3. Site deployment

The site uses Alibaba Cloud’s CentOS server. For me who is not very familiar with Linux systems, I used the wdcp control panel to implement wordpress site deployment. This paragraph will not be repeated again.

4. Construction of the WeChat public platform

The WeChat public platform is deployed with Linux server + Flask + MySQL. For the time being, it only implements entering keywords to search for the novel title in the database. The picture and text return the name and link of the novel, allowing you to read novels anytime and anywhere on WeChat.
