For the PHP programming language. Everyone has different learning methods. The purpose of writing this article is to share my own learning process. It is for reference only. Don’t blindly use other people’s learning methods. Find a learning method that is useful to you

I often see some friends in some forums and QQ groups asking "how to learn PHP well, how to learn *** language well", but the most common answer from others is: start with the "simplest" one.

This simplicity may not be simple at all, haha. Below I would like to share some of my learning process. Let me talk some wasteful words first. My language organization skills are poor and I have said a lot of wasteful words. Just read what you want to see and don’t scold me.

In fact, learning a new language is not too difficult. What matters is whether you are ready to learn it well. The length of time is related to personal ability and determination. There is also a popular saying in the hacker community that "there is no computer that cannot be hacked." This sentence roughly means: If your skills are better than the administrator who maintains this computer, you can take down this computer and even defeat it. Take down all the computers managed by this administrator. If your skills are inferior to others, you can only continue to learn to surpass them. What I mean by these words is that friends who are planning to learn a new language must make up their mind to learn it. As long as you make up your mind to learn it, you will definitely learn it well. Don’t give up halfway. (Taking a step back, even if you haven’t learned well, you must know more than others)

Understand what is the easiest:
1. The basic structure of a web page is html code, so you must be familiar with it Basic elements such as HTML/CSS/JS
2. Be familiar with PHP syntax, understand how PHP and HTML operate, and learn to combine PHP and HTML to complete simple pages

PHP manual is a better introductory teacher

Several possible factors that affect learning progress and whether the program is powerful:

1. Memory

The power of a language should depend on its functions Library and code execution efficiency.
Each language has its own powerful function library. To learn it well, you must spend a lot of time memorizing it. Good memory can make learning more effective with half the effort.

2. Mathematics and logical thinking

Of course this is not an absolute impact, because it depends on the complexity of the development project. Small projects do not require much mathematical and logical thinking skills, but this is very important if you are developing projects related to finance or large calculations.

3. Have a foundation in other languages

"One thing can help you all", the truth of this sentence is beyond doubt. It is said that it is easier for people with C language foundation to learn PHP. I have never learned C language, so I don’t know the effect of this sentence

4. Read more code written by others

Learning from other people’s strengths and making up for one’s own shortcomings is certainly not all about this. I always believe that the program written by an organized team will not be worse than that of an individual.
My introduction to PHP started by looking at the code. I like to read the code written by others (I started from disucz, PHPWind and foreign phpbb, as well as the most popular open source BLOG program). I try my best to Collect PHP open source programs on the Internet. So far, the PHP open source programs I have collected and downloaded are 2GB in size, including BBS, BLOG, CMS, etc. I downloaded them not to collect them, but to learn their programming methods and implementation methods. If I don’t know how to implement the function I want to achieve, I will learn their implementation methods. It is not plagiarism of the code. The final result is that I want to learn through , making technology your own. I also learned ASP in the same way (Dongyi Hexun's programs and other ASP open source programs)

5. Practice

Theory is important, but practice is essential . No matter how good your theoretical knowledge is, if you don't practice it, you won't be able to see the results or effects of the theory, and it won't make your memory deep, so you can't talk about it on paper

6. Perseverance

Isn’t there a saying in the advertisement: “The highest mountain in the world is yourself”. I believe that friends can understand this, and everything else will be easy to handle

7. Find a learning method that is useful to you

You can refer to 4 for this article. I started by looking at the code
Some friends may ask: "Look at those powerful ones at the beginning." Can you understand the code? "
My way of learning is to find "Learn Functions" from "Usage": PHP has too many functions, and it is impossible to remember all the functions in a short time, because I believe that a big The project will definitely use common and necessary functions. Only when you find these functions can you focus on learning these functions. Can you say that writing BBS will use fewer functions than writing BLOG? Can I write a BBS but not a BLOG?
Finding the right learning method requires trying a variety of learning methods, so this can only be determined by yourself. After all, everyone’s learning style is different

8. Try to find video tutorials as much as possible

What others say is ten sentences, but it is not as clear as one operation. I believe all my friends have experienced this.

9. Start with the project

You must "force" yourself to start by writing a project.
The "growth" of any master must go through a process, which is achieved step by step and is hard-won
The first works of many friends who learn PHP are almost all "guest books", because It’s the simplest program
Being able to write a guestbook does not completely mean that you have started, nor does it mean that you know PHP. I started to want to use an "online bookmark" as my first work, but after writing the basic functions, I couldn't I continued, but it didn’t make much sense. Now I am writing a CMS system that is completely correct for enterprises, including some common functions for enterprises. I want to use this as my first work to get started with PHP

10. Understand and learn PHP-related Technology

Real masters must learn the technologies related to PHP. If you want to learn PHP well, you must learn databases. PHP+MYSQL is considered the "golden partner". So you have to get in touch with MYSQL or a database that you think is better, and start designing a more "reasonable" database. Reasonable here is broader, including database optimization, query optimization, etc.

The last thing I want to say is: "Don't rely on others." No one is willing to pay attention to a novice's question, because the novice's question is too simple in their eyes and they don't want to explain it. A popular saying among female friends is "If a man can rely on you, a sow will climb a tree." Quoting this sentence has no other meaning, it is just to let friends know the meaning of this sentence.

What I also want to say is: "Cherish the number of times others answer." There is a limit to people's patience. You must cherish this limit. Don't ask all questions. Some questions can be answered by spending some time by yourself. Ask, too. Every time you ask, the patience of others is reduced. When you really need help, it happens to be the time when others are unwilling to answer you. You can imagine that you have lost too much.

The suggestion is: "Have any questions? Baidu." I believe your friends have noticed that the questions you asked can be found in the search engines, and there are detailed solutions. You can Use a search engine to find your own answer, why ask others?
The largest Chinese search engine is baidu.com, the world's Google, and of course there are other search engines. If you can't find one, try a few more. Unless your question is asked first, then you are lucky, or it may be a problem with your "looks", haha, just joking, don't mind, but this sentence is quite popular
