Dom is the abbreviation of Document Object Model, which means document object model. DOM is an interface that is independent of browsers, platforms, and languages. You can use this interface to easily access all standard components in the page.

DOM operations can be divided into three aspects: DOM Core, HTM-DOM and CSS-DOM.

jQuery DOM element methods

Function Description
.get() Get the DOM element specified by the selector.
.index() Returns the index position of the specified element relative to other specified elements.
.size() Returns the number of elements matched by the jQuery selector.
.toArray() Returns the elements matched by the jQuery selector as an array.

1.attr() .removeAttr()

The

.attr() method can pass in a parameter of a name-value pair, or an object parameter containing more than two name-value pairs, for example:

.attr('src','images/a.jpg');

.attr({
 rel:'www',
 id:'zz',
 title:'some',
 some:'111'
});
Copy after login

Of course, you can also remove one or more attributes.removeAttr('id rel');

2.prop()

This method can get the attribute value

Pass in the attribute name (string) of the value you want to get, such as .prop('id');

Set the value of id (modify the attributes that exist in the DOM itself such as the href and id of the a tag)
.prop('id','otherid');

3.val()

This method is often used to obtain the value of form controls

4.insertBefore() .insertAfter() .prependTo() .appendTo()

.insertBefore() adds content outside and before existing elements; (reverse operation .before())
.insertAfter() adds content outside and after the existing element; (reverse operation .after())
.prependTo() adds content inside and before existing elements; (reverse operation .prepend())
.appendTo() adds content inside and after the existing element; (reverse operation .append())

5.clone()

This method can copy the copy element. If you need the copied element to inherit other events, you need to pass in a Boolean value as a parameter, .clone(true)

6.wrap() .wrapAll() .wrapInner()

.wrap() and .wrapInner() can be understood as relative. .wrap() is wrapped one layer outside the element, while .wrapWith() is wrapped one layer inside the element,

And .wrapAll() wraps all matched elements

7.html() .text() .replaceWith() .replaceAll()

.html() can pass in text or DOM nodes;

.text() can only read or replace text;

.replaceWith(). . . Replace "into". . . ;

.replaceAll(). . . Replace "give". . .

8.empty()

Remove element

9.detach() .remove()

These two methods are somewhat similar, neither will delete the matching elements from the jQuery object, but there are still differences:

.detach() All bound events, additional data, etc. will be retained

.remove() In addition to the element itself being retained, other elements such as
Bound events, attached data, etc. will be removed.
