"PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor", open the abbreviation or abbreviation. PHP is an HTML embedded language (similar to ASP on IIS). And PHP's unique syntax mixes C, Java, Perl, and new PHP-like syntax. It can execute dynamic web pages faster than CGI or Perl.

Are you excited?

Are you curious?

Do you want to know about PHP development engineers immediately?

Haha~

More PHP language content can’t be finished in a while! ~

Today I will tell you about the development history of PHP!

PHP was originally planned and developed by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994 AD. The first version was released in 1995 as Personal Home Page Tools (PHP Tools).

In this early version, simple functions such as guest book and visitor counter were provided. Later, after new members joined the development team, in mid-1995, the second version of PHP became available.

The second version is named PHP/FI (Form Interpreter). PHP/FI and added mSQL support, which has since established PHP's influence in dynamic web development. At the end of 1996, there were fifteen thousand Web sites using PHP/FI; by mid-1997, the number of Web sites using PHP/FI had grown to more than fifty thousand.

In mid-1997, the development plan for the third version began. The development team joined Zeev Suraski and Andi Gutmans, and the third version was named PHP3.

PHP3 is closely integrated with the Apache server; coupled with its constant updates and addition of new features; and its support for almost all mainstream and non-mainstream databases; and its high-speed execution efficiency, making PHP in In mid-1999, there were more than 150,000 websites using it!! Its source code is completely open to the public. Today, with the rise of Open Source awareness, it is the mainstay in this regard.

The constant addition of new function libraries and the vitality of constant updates enable PHP to have more new functions on both UNIX and Win32 platforms. It provides rich functions to provide better support in programming.

PHP’s fourth generation Zend core engine has entered testing phase. The core of the entire script program has been significantly changed to allow the execution speed of the program to meet faster requirements. After optimization, the efficiency is better than that of traditional CGI or ASP programs.

Moreover, it also has stronger new functions and richer function libraries. Whether you accept it or not, PHP will set off a revolutionary revolution in the field of Web CGI. It will also be one of the required courses for a full-time Web Master.

Explain JSON Web Tokens (JWT) and their use case in PHP APIs. Explain JSON Web Tokens (JWT) and their use case in PHP APIs. Apr 05, 2025 am 12:04 AM

JWT is an open standard based on JSON, used to securely transmit information between parties, mainly for identity authentication and information exchange. 1. JWT consists of three parts: Header, Payload and Signature. 2. The working principle of JWT includes three steps: generating JWT, verifying JWT and parsing Payload. 3. When using JWT for authentication in PHP, JWT can be generated and verified, and user role and permission information can be included in advanced usage. 4. Common errors include signature verification failure, token expiration, and payload oversized. Debugging skills include using debugging tools and logging. 5. Performance optimization and best practices include using appropriate signature algorithms, setting validity periods reasonably,

The application of SOLID principle in PHP development includes: 1. Single responsibility principle (SRP): Each class is responsible for only one function. 2. Open and close principle (OCP): Changes are achieved through extension rather than modification. 3. Lisch's Substitution Principle (LSP): Subclasses can replace base classes without affecting program accuracy. 4. Interface isolation principle (ISP): Use fine-grained interfaces to avoid dependencies and unused methods. 5. Dependency inversion principle (DIP): High and low-level modules rely on abstraction and are implemented through dependency injection.
