Release instance
To save costs, if you no longer need a pay-as-you-go instance, you should release the instance as soon as possible.
For pay-as-you-go instances, if you have not enabled the pay-as-you-go instance to stop charging, the stopped instance will still be billed, and billing will only stop after it is released.
For prepaid instances, the instance will be automatically released after the billing cycle expires. Before the instance expires, you can only apply for a refund to release the instance early.
Currently, you can choose any of the following methods to release instances:
Immediate release: Pay-as-you-go instances are released immediately.
Timed release: Enable the automatic release function and set the time for automatic release of instances. It can only be scheduled to be released automatically after 30 minutes at the earliest, and the time is accurate to the minute. Each setting will overwrite the previous setting.
Description
Data cannot be recovered after release. It is recommended that you create a snapshot to back up your data before releasing.
