Install laravel (version 5.8):

composer global require laravel/installer
Create a project:
After installation, go to the folder where you store all your projects (all my projects are in the site folder):
cd site

laravel new edu-system
Start the service:
The project has been created. Now enter the folder of the just created project and execute the start service command:
cd edu-system php artisan serve
Visit in the browser http://localhost:8000/ You can see the homepage of laravel. Currently, valet is used, so there is no need to configure nginx, which is very convenient and fast.
