How to create servlet in idea
To use IDEA to create a servlet, you must first create a new Java web and add a tomcat server. Only when used together can the effect be seen.

#The first step is to create a new web project.
The second step is to create two new folders in the web/WEB-INF directory, classes are used to store the bytes of the servlet Code file (.class), lib is used to store packages referenced by the project.
The third step, press f4 to enter Project Structure, enter the Modules (IDEA project) tab, and output the two Paths Change the paths to the classes created in step 2.
Step 4, then click Dependencies, select the + sign on the right, create a new JARS path, and select the lib folder created in step 2.
The fifth step is to enter the Artifacts tab and set the output directory to Create the new project folder under webapps in the Tomcat installation location.
The sixth step is Run->Edit Configurations to configure Tomcat, which is generally configured by default.
