How to check if your IP is a public IP?

Public network IP: Globally unique IP address. (Public network IP is divided into static public network IP and dynamic public network IP. To tell the difference, enter the router to check the connection mode. pppoe connections are all dynamic public network IP.)

There is such a situation : The bandwidth of China Unicom is pulled, and the allocated IP can only be accessed within China Unicom, not the mobile network. At best, this IP can only be regarded as a "public IP within China Unicom", not a real public IP.

There are many ways to determine whether the local (routing) IP is a public IP. They are listed below for your reference.

1. Rule of thumb:

1. Generally, the bandwidth of telecommunications adsl is a (dynamic) public IP before it is upgraded to a large bandwidth. If it costs a small amount of money to upgrade you to 100M fiber optic Internet access, 99.99% will be intranet IP, and 0.01% will be I have not found any cases.

2. 99.99% of proxy network operators are intranet IPs, such as Great Wall Bandwidth, Juyou Ejia, etc.

3. 99.99% of fiber optic Internet access is intranet IP. Many people only use 100M to access the Internet. After testing, sometimes the download speed can reach 10MBps (i.e. 100Mbps). Note the download speed mentioned here. There is also a term called uplink speed, please know .

2. Intuitive method:

1, IPs starting with 10 are all intranet IPs. That is, 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255 is the internal IP. Many self-provided bandwidth routes allocate IPs starting with 10, which are all intranet IPs.

2. The addresses in the following IP segments are all intranet IP addresses.

(1) 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255

(2) 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255

(3) 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255

Three, comparison method:

#1, log in to your own route to see the automatically assigned IP

2. Log in to http://www.ip138.com website to see the IP address obtained

3, log in to http://ip.qq. com Check the obtained IP address

4, log in to Wanwanghttp://www.net.cn/static/customercare/yourip.asp Check the obtained IP address

(If Wanwang obtains two IPs, it is the intranet environment where the IP has been converted by the operator)

5, log in Compare the IP address results of multiple well-known IP checking websites. As long as one of the result IPs is inconsistent, it means that it is the intranet IP. Note that the ip query website only gets the IP of your local exit, even if it is a forwarded IP.

4. Questioning method:

1. Directly ask your network provider whether the IP assigned by him is a public IP and whether it can be accessed across networks. This IP. If the network operator is not sure, or cannot guarantee that it is a public IP, or only provides you with access to the Internet, it means that it is an intranet IP.

5. Personal test method:

1. Open remote desktop locally and ensure that remote control can work normally within the LAN. Then see if it can be accessed through IP in the external network and cross-network environment.
2, deploy a website application or other applications locally, and ensure that the intranet can be accessed normally. Then check whether it can be accessed through IP in the external network and cross-network environment.

# Tips: If it is a dynamic public IP, you can use nat123 dynamic domain name resolution to solve the problem of public IP inconsistency Fixed issue.
If port 80 of the public IP is blocked, you can use nat123's 80 mapping to penetrate it to build a public website server.

If there is no public IP, you can use nat123 port mapping to map any internal network address to the external network and provide external network access, including 80 mapping, full port mapping, http, https, tcp, udp, ftp, broadcast, access to any application on any port.
