Environment: centos7

An error was reported when using composer to install dependencies. The following error description appeared:

Failed to download laravel/laravel from dist: The "https://files.phpcomposer.com/files/laravel/laravel/48f44440f7713d3267af2969ed84297455f3787e.zip" file could not be downloaded: SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages:
error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed
Failed to enable crypto
failed to open stream: operation failed
Copy after login

is a certificate. There are some problems.

Try to fix:

yum update -y
Copy after login

After all software is updated, restart the machine and try composer again to install dependencies, it succeeds

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel vms3.0-admin
