How to solve the problem of black borders on screenshots in Empire CMS

The reason why black borders appear in screenshots:

Empire CMS will only generate thumbnails for images whose width is greater than height (horizontal image). When black borders appear, we open a picture with black borders and analyze it and conclude that Empire CMS scales the picture according to its height. If the width is insufficient, it fills it with black borders.

Solution:

Change scaling based on height to scaling based on width, and then crop the higher part.

Modification method:

1. Open e/class/gd.php

2. Find the code

if($big_width >= $max_width and $big_height >= $max_height)
{
if($big_width > $big_height)
{
$tempx = $max_width / $ratioh;
$tempy = $big_height;
$srcX = ($big_width - $tempx) / 2;
$srcY = 0;
}
Copy after login

and modify it to :

if($big_width >= $max_width and $big_height >= $max_height)
{
if($big_width > $big_height)
{
$tempy = $max_height / $ratiow;
$tempx = $big_width;
$srcY = ($big_height - $tempy) / 2;
$srcX = 0;
}
Copy after login

If you use the thumbnail function, you need to set the interception of the upper part:

sys_ResizeImg(原图片,缩图宽度,缩图高度,是否裁翦图片,目标文件名)
//是否裁翦图片为设置为1
Copy after login

For normal use, you need to set: Backstage>System>System Settings>System Parameter Settings >Image Settings>Whether to intercept the excess part>Select Yes
