php installation extension steps (taking redis as an example)
Prerequisite note: you must have redis software installed on your LINUX machine. I have not installed it before, so I think I made a mistake. Been looking for it for a long time.
yum install redis;
Premise: Download redis-3.1.1.tgz from http://pecl.php.net/package/redis and put it in the /usr/local/ directory
Step 1: Unzip the file redis-3.1.1.tgz
tar -zxvf redis-3.2.7.tar.gz
Step 2: Enter the decompressed file
cd redis-3.2.7/
Step 3: phpize generates the configuration file
When php is compiled, php There will be the phpize script file in the bin directory. Before compiling the extension module you want to add, just execute the following phpize;
But I installed php5.6.30 using yum, so the phpize script file is in /usr/bin/phpize. If You don’t know where
Find / -name phpize to view the path of this file
So my command is
/usr/bin/phpize
Step 4: After generating the configuration file, you need./ configure, this step requires php-config
. My php-config file is in /usr/bin/php-config. If you don’t know, perform the find / -name php-config
./configure --with-php-config=/usr/bin/php-config
step. 5: make && make install
The last line is the installation location of this extension
Mine is Installing shared extensions: /usr/lib64/php/modules/
ll / usr/lib64/php/modules/
You can see redis.so
Step 6: Configure php.ini If you don’t know the location, you can find / -name php.ini
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ; Module Settings ; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Add extension=/usr/lib64/php/modules/redis.so
or extension=redis.so
: wq! Save and exit
Step 7 : Restart the apache service
/usr/sbin/apachectl restart
Then you can see the redis extension in phpinfo()
