In the above code, the specified value we gave is 50, and then the if statement is used to determine whether n is greater than 50. If n is greater than 50, three times the absolute difference is returned, otherwise it is returned its absolute difference. The key arithmetic code parts here are "($n - $x)*3;" and "$x - $n;".

In this example, the first n we gave is 53, then 53 is greater than 50, and the result is naturally to return (53-50)*3=9;

The second one n is 30, which is less than 50, and the result is "50-30=20";

The third n is 50, which is equal to 50, and the result is naturally 0.
