On January 5, Beijing time (later on January 4, US time), Google officially released the Chrome 97 stable version of the browser, and has begun rolling it out through the browser’s automatic update system.
This version of Chrome 97 brings better tools for deleting stored website data, more consistent web applications, and more granular zoom control on the mobile version of the browser, and of course it also brings controversial keymaps API.

Google started testing a CSS feature in Chrome 94 to detect whether the device screen supports HDR content. This feature is now live in Chrome 97.
