CEO Satya Nadella sat down with Bloomberg's Emily Chang to detail the company's vision for Microsoft Office, now part of Microsoft 365. In the "coming months," Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook will be updated with the latest technology from OpenAI to deliver the new Copilot AI assistant.

Artificial intelligence assistants called Copilots will be able to generate complete documents, emails and slide decks based on knowledge gained from software scanning company documents and listening to conference calls. The technology is set to debut in the coming months, and Microsoft is already testing it with 20 companies, including eight Fortune 500 companies that Microsoft declined to name.
