I generated this image a while ago using the AI ​​image generator Midjourney. I ran the prompt dozens of times using variations of the phrases "Big Sur" and "Starry Night" before narrowing it down to the image I wanted and reworking it further to perfect this generation. From there, I started using ML to enlarge, sharpen, and make other edits to create the final product.

I've actually been sitting on this photo for a long time, but I convinced myself that the reception would be so indifferent that it wasn't worth posting the photo. I posted this image online on March 11th out of curiosity, never intending to develop it into a wallpaper. The reception became so positive that I scrambled to further edit the image for publication later that afternoon. That wallpaper became so popular that within a few hours I started receiving dozens of messages saying that my host (Google) had shut down access due to high demand. Obviously angry because I paid a lot of money for hosting, I posted the image on my blog in the hopes of a more stable host so that the wallpaper could be discovered now and in the future.
