Windows 10 KB5022282 is now available for PCs in version 22H2 and 21H2, and it comes with a host of bug fixes. However, there are no new features in this version. Microsoft is pushing the update through Windows Update, but you can also find a direct download link for the Windows 10 KB5022282 offline installer on the Microsoft Update Catalog.

KB5022282 is part of the company's Patch Tuesday, which focuses on security improvements. Of course, it also includes fixes from previous months' cumulative and cumulative preview updates. However, Microsoft is officially on holiday in December due to Christmas, so there were no optional updates last month.

Microsoft 21H1 Retired; no further updates.

Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 version 21H1 in December. Patch Tuesday, December 13th, is the final patch for this particular version. Security updates and improvements are no longer supported in version 21H1, so you'll need to upgrade your device to a newer version of Windows.

Keep in mind that Microsoft will force an upgrade for devices still using version 21H1, according to a statement from the company.

Those unsupported PCs will automatically update to version 22H2. You can also upgrade directly to Windows 11 22H2 if needed.

However, Windows 11 isn't always an option as you still need to meet system requirements, including TPM 2.0 and an 8th generation processor.
