FCC filing for Sonos Sub Mini confirms cylindrical design, could launch in summer
Sonos just launched its most affordable soundbar yet, the Ray. Launched as the company's next product, it will be a great companion to the compact Ray and Beam soundbars.
Last month, we got a detailed look at the Sonos Sub Mini thanks to renders created by The Verge after seeing leaked images of the product.
Now, Sonos FCC filings (via The Verge) reveal the underside of the Sonos Sub Mini and confirm that the expected design is accurate.
The FCC images also indicate that there is a black and white variant, which would make sense to match the options on the Ray and Beam soundbars (as well as other Sonos products).

Sonos Sub Mini price?
Currently, Sonos only has one Sub gen 3, priced at $749. This won't fit into smaller spaces or the $279 or $449 Ray and Beam soundbars. The Sub Mini will definitely come with a more affordable price tag, but it's unclear exactly what that will be.
However, one tip, the Sub Mini was tested with a Beam soundbar. If Sonos recommends it as the best pairing, it could end up costing closer to $500 than the Ray's $279.
Launch date?
The FCC filing could mean we don’t have much time to wait before seeing the expected Sub Mini launch. As The Verge points out, two recent examples are the Sonos Roam, which launched about a month after the FCC filing, and the Sonos Ray, which arrived two months after the FCC filing.
While there’s no guarantee, the Sonos Sub Mini may launch in the summer.
Sonos Voice Control and Sonos Ray Deliveries
Meanwhile, Sonos just launched voice control that works with Apple Music yesterday, and the first deliveries of Sonos Ray will be next week on June 6 Arrivals will begin on July 7th.
The above is the detailed content of FCC filing for Sonos Sub Mini confirms cylindrical design, could launch in summer. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!

According to news from this website on June 28, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed a new rule that requires operators to unlock their iPhone or Android smartphones within 60 days of users activating the phone, aiming to help users switch operators more easily. , thereby promoting market competition. As we all know, operators will promote "locked" iPhones to users through contracts or subsidies. If the phone tries to use another operator's physical SIM card or eSIM card, it may be "locked." To change operators, these users must first apply to their existing operator to unlock their phones. Currently, there are no regulations on the processing time for carriers to unlock a phone, and the FCC hopes to solve this problem. Commission Chairman Rosenworcel said: Real competition requires

According to a report by The Verge in March this year, Sonos is intensively developing its second-generation portable Move speaker and plans to launch it at the end of September this year. The new generation of Move speakers continues the classic style in appearance design, and also adds a new "olive" color option to provide users with more choices. What is exciting is that the battery life of the new speakers has been greatly improved, from the previous 10 Hours increased to 24 hours. In addition, Sonos has also improved the power consumption in standby mode to make the battery life longer. This means that users can enjoy music for a longer time without frequent charging, which increases the practicality and portability of the speaker. The second-generation Move speaker has more improvements in performance, including support for stereo playback, via Wi-Fi
